libakonadi-dev software package provides development files for the Akonadi PIM storage service, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libakonadi-dev
libakonadi-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libakonadi-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libakonadi-dev *
You will get with libakonadi-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
